MWM: Coral 6
I haven't played along with the MWM lately. It's been a little hectic. We are partially packed, a lot unpacked... And I'm struggling with the want to pack everything up. There's always this question of whether or not we will need something in the next few weeks. Although, the reality of packing stuff up and not caring that it's gone is also a realization that we might have too much stuff.
Anyway... Here is this week's MWM: Coral 6. There was a lot that I liked about the original sketch, although this layout ended up nothing like the sketch. Know however, the intent was there originally.
It was important to document this event. This little house has been so great to us. And even though we are moving into a much larger (and more size appropriate) house for four people, our first little house will always be home to us. It is bittersweet to see the cuteness of our little home, and know at some point soon, it will be instead be home for someone else.

Studio Calico Layout and a Birthday Card
I've not been crafting like I like to. Well, I made another layout, but haven't gone to Costco to actually grab any photos. I'm that crafter right now. We're in the middle of moving currently. Or rather, in the middle of packing stuff we don't use, while keeping the stuff we do use daily out. For instance: most of my clothes right now are in boxes. Fun, huh? And we don't move for another three weekends.
Anyway... Here's a layout that I created using a photo of Miss I that was taken just days before Little R was born. I even used the sketch from Studio Calico's sketch from 10/14.
This is a cute Silhouette file that I used for a birthday card. I've been a little lax this week and forgot to send it. I'm thinking I shouldn't be in charge of much lately.
I had fun distressing this one. Enjoy!

ScrapbookSteals & Love My Tapes Blog Hop!
Good Morning fellow ScrapbookStealers! Heather here. You're here for the Love My Tapes Fabric Tape Blog Hop! If you are following in order, you should have gotten here from ScrapbookSteals. Don't forget to visit everyone's pages and leave a comment. Scrapbook Steals will draw a name from all the comments to win a $20 Scrapbook Steals gift certificate. Remember, you have until 11:59MST on Sunday, October 14th, to leave your comment. Every comment is a chance to win! Here is the blog order, just in case.
For this first card, I used the Fabric Tape instead of ribbon. It seriously is so easy to use!!
After making a really simple card, I then decided to try my hand at weaving the Fabric Tape. Because it is sticky, it was easy to create the pattern. To make it all meet, I kept the paper lengths longer until it was time to cut the edges clean.
I love a pretty Moleskine notebook. This one was super fun to cover the seam in the notebook. To make the Fabric Tape stay longer, I ran it over the edges of the notebook. LOVE THIS!!
And my last card, an adorable Christmas card. The trees are simple half circles, that have Fabric Tape on one side. Then, they are folded into thirds and adhered to the paper. There is also a top and bottom border using the tape as well.
I really loved using Love My Tapes Fabric Tape. It was super easy to create projects with, and cannot wait to snag a few more patterns and colors to add to my collection. If you want to purchase Love My Tapes Fabric Tape, make sure that you head over to ScrapbookSteals.com to pick some up today. SS has a steal each day at 9 AM and 9 PM MST. They also have some great contests, sketches and various techniques and information on their great blog!

For today's project, I created something that I've been meaning to create now for three years, a "December Daily" mini album. I know that October is a little early to be making something for the holidays. Normally I am never so prepared, or early with most anything. It just so happens that we are going to be moving in the near future, so my scrappy area will be "mostly" packed up for awhile. I'm planning ahead. And with the gorgeous Christmas and Santa stamps that I had available to use, I couldn't resist!
See!! Isn't that Santa just adorable?!?! With my December Mini Album, I decided to sprinkle the stamps in various places, both in ink and embossing. I started with a Silhouette cut of "December" using last year's Wonder line and some cream cardstock. The cover was covered in Festive's Merry. I also used Details, some May Arts ribbon, a couple of button pearls, and a neat skeleton key that I found at the hardware store.
In each page, I combined both cardstock, Authentique papers, Authentique Details and Unity Stamps.
I loved embossing with the Unity Stamps. They made such clean images.
Doesn't the embossing look great on this one? I just loved how the snowflakes popped in black!
I even was able to use some more of the Wonder in a few pockets throughout the book. I really love how the older lines blend with the great new ones!
The Santa Claus was just too adorable!!
And a little pocket envelope for a letter to Santa.
I couldn't resist using the large quote stamp a few times.
And Christmas Day! I cannot wait to enter the photos for this day.
I really hope that you enjoyed seeing my Christmas Mini Album. Now that you've seen my work, please continue to Jen's blog over at The Buck Stamps Here. Have a great day, and make sure to comment on each blog as you go. Both Authentique and Unity have some lovely prizes!!
Authentique Collections: Festive Collection, Peaceful Collection, Wonder Collection, papers and Details

Happy Card Making Day! (& Happy Birthday to the Mr.)
This morning Miss I and I got up early to make a birthday card and breakfast for the hubs. It also just happens to be World Card Making Day. And Oktoberfest. But that's another story :)
This card was made with Basic Grey papers, using a Studio Calico stamp set, and a Silo cut. Miss I picked the cupcake and colors. Pretty good for a three year old!
A shout out to Paper Issues, who is also celebrating World Cardmaking Day!!

More Gossamer Blue Cards... MCM #102
I really do love the Gossamer Blue kit that I received from The Scrap Review last month. I'm still using it. There was SOOO much stuff! I loved the feminine touches to both of these cards. I even know the recipients :)
I used Kristy's MCM (Monday Card Madness) Sketch #102 for both of these. Of course, I had to change it up though.
Thanks for stopping by!! I'm on post 197... Almost 200! I'm going to have a little giveaway when I hit the big 2-0-0!!
