ECHO PARK!!!!!!!!!!!
I ended up driving about 25 miles away to find a store that carried any of EP's Christmas lines, and I wasn't dissapointed in the least. I ended up choosing Everyone Loves Christmas for it's fantastic colors.
Here is my "Merry Christmas" layout. I used a piece of Bazzill for the background paper, EP's stickers and used four pieces of paper: Trim the Tree, Snowman, Garland, and the Journaling Cards. The snowflakes and the green pattern is from the "B" sides of paper. I took the Christmas journaling card and cut slits in between the letters and distressed it alot, then the tree stickers and the ornament sticker were placed on chipboard to stand out more. I used dimensional adhesive for the trees, ornament and the brown border sticker. The ribbon for the ornament is American Crafts.
The journaling says: "Isla, Even though last year's Christmas was your first--this year's Christmas is shaping up to be even more special!"

Mid Week Mojo #17
I didn't have a piece of patterned paper that I liked, nor do I have mists... So, I used watercolors. It worked! Then, I realized that the watercolors were a little dark... So used a white Chalks ink pad to help tone it down.
The paper is MME, with the pink and brown paper, the B side of Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry. The journal box is BoBunny, and the flowers are from BG paper, with BG brads and buttons.
Imaginisce: Enchanted!

Roberts Crafts: Freebie Friday!!
I love my little monkey, I. She is the perfect image of the combination of my husband and myself. She's smart, and funny, and crazy, and spirited, and just so full of life that even why she's driving us nuts... She makes us laugh.
I know that I'm in love with her, because I smile whenever I think about her. She's my baby.
'Nuff said.

Nanny's Mini Book
Love the big bow on the front. There is something about gorgeous thick ribbon that just get's me every time!
I also loved the colors. Muted, but fun. It ended up being mainly pinks, browns, and greens. I chose the colors first... Then cut down the papers into squares, rounded the edges and glued it all together.
Genius!

American Crafts Studio: 6 Colors Week Challenge with Wendy
The challenge itself is to only use six, (yes 6!!) colors throughout the entire layout. My colors are: white, tan, brown, green, pink and raspberry. I know that there is only a little bit of raspberry throughout the layout, but it is such a bright color that I didn't want it to overpower the images.
I used a comination of stripes and dots to mirror the patterns that were in the photographs. Stripes to mimic the slats in Isla's crib, and the dots to mimic the pattern of her bedclothes.
All in all, this is a pretty successful layout. Yeah!!

MWM #15, and the three Challenges!!
Challenge #3 was a little interesting for me, as I saw the challenge... and had an idea. The subject was Thankful. We needed to put down someone, or something that we were thankful for. I scrapbooked the things that make me sane enough to deal with the people that I am thankful for ;) Starbucks, my iPhone, and my Pink ATG gun.

AMERICAN CRAFTS PRIZE!!!!
Randomly, later in the week... my comment was chosen!! I won't repeat it. It was a little dorky of me :) You can always check the link though...
My Mind's Eye Blog Challenge #16
The challenge said that the layout did not have to be a Halloween page, and since I didn't have any MME Halloween papers, I was very thankful!
I decided to use a birthday photo of Miss I that I had been saving for just the perfect occasion! I also finally (I mean, really... I bought these papers before she was even born!!) used my Pretty as a Princess paper from the Bohemia2 line!! The larger circles are from the BellaBella line, I think it is called Bellezo. The smaller circles are from some die cuts also from the BellaBella line. The transfer title is "Birthday Girl". I chose not to include the blue stars though. I also placed that on the back of one of the die cuts from the Life Stories line. I liked the color... but the line that were on the front weren't the look I was going for. I saw the crowns at a random LSS, and knew what paper (the MME, of course!) I wanted to use them with, but never got the inspiration until now.
I distressed all of the edges, to add more texture. I also popped up the smaller die cut circles to give the page a little more volume.
I'm actually very pleased with the result!! It not only met the challenge requirements... But I LOVE IT!!!! Thanks MME!!

MWM's 1-12--I'm part of the Diamond Club!!
I decided to turn all of these fantastic layout designs into a calendar. Seems easy, right??? It's so not. I think I spent about four hours, six weeks ago, figuring out which double sided paper, matched the month before or after it. Oh yeah... four hours!!! You'd think that picking 13 pieces of paper would be easier. I mixed lines and styles, as well as colors... This allowed for various embellishments to be used, as well as different kinds of photos displayed!!
Since I decided that I was going to use the MWM's for the layouts in the calendars, the color choices were already decided for me. Sometimes, the MWM used for the specific month, was solely because the base paper layer was already "outlined", or patterned in a way that fit for that month.
This was a huge undertaking! I admit... I was trying to get this done for the orignal date for the Diamond Club... but it just didn't happen. Work, the baby, the husband, life, just got in the way.
Like heck! I'm missing the Marquis/Platinum/Double Diamond (that was totally a ski term, wasn't it??)/whatever gem it's called... club!! I'm in it, to win it, baby!!!!
