Moxie Fab Cards: Brights and Metallics

I love using color for my inspiration!! I love sketches, I love seeing how different people use sketches to create similar layouts and cards... But my art background makes me love color even more!!

This week, I used Moxie Fab World's Color Inspiration. I have two cards that I created for their six challenges!! I'm going to try to complete all six!!

The first that I completed was a thank you card. The inspiration was using Metallics. For the most part, I can't stand metallics. I can never find the "right" version that doesn't look too cheesy. And gold? Not my favorite. Fortunately, I did have a neat looking gold, metallic paper lying around...
For this card, I used a DCWV gold paper, MME Lush flocked damask pink and winter white paper and a winter white cardstock from American Crafts. To give the card the message, I used a Martha Stewart ribbon, and to add some more metallic in my favorite way... MME Lush brown rhinestones! I used the Gypsy cart from my Cricut for the fleur-de-lis.
The second card that I created is one of my all-time favorites! I used the colors from their Bright and Bold Challenge. The Bazzill equivalents are Beetle Black, Lily White, Pink Fairy and Tangelo Blast.
I used some American Crafts cardstock in pink, AC Craft Fair "B" side for the orange, some generic black and white cardstock that I had lying around, Making Memories ribbon, and a MyMindsEye gem. I used my Cricut for the die cuts. The lips are from the Indie Art cart, and the "Smile" is from the WildCards cart. :)

I'm off now to try to finish the others!!
