Hello friends! Today is my mom's birthday, and I created a card just for her. A few weeks ago, the Big Birthday Kit went on sale, and I knew that I wanted this set. I loved the various characters that could be colored and designed for any person you know.
I colored the little girl and her accessories with alcohol markers, making sure to include my mom's red hair.
Once everything was colored, I worked on the background paper. I created a background effect with Distress Oxide inks, blending them together, then sprinkling water on the paper to add some texture.
Before I used dimensional adhesive to pop everything onto the paper, I stamped the Birthday Wishes sentiment, using some clear embossing powder to create some shine.
