SS Ruby Challenges #2, 3 and 4!!!

Okay. I realize that I'm not listing ScrapbookSteals' Ruby Challenge #1. Technically, it's actually MWM #30.

33 layouts in 10 weeks??? Not bad!!! Here are my three additional challenges for Ruby Status!!! WOO HOO!!

SS'ers were supposed to share a little known fact about themselves. I shared 10. :)
Title: 10 Things About Me

Challenge #3: Lucky Me!
SS'ers were given the task of featuring something in our life that we were lucky to have.
Title: Lucky in Love

This was one difficult!! Here's the list. There was no right or wrong way to complete this... We just had to include these items. All of them.
10 metal embellishments: metal brads, 9 plain, 1 decorative
9 inches of ribbon: there are actually 9 inches of ribbon in the flower
8 letters in the title: isla sofi
7 non-metal embellishments: seven rhinestones
6 sentences in the journaling: this is obvious
5 pieces of patterned paper: there are five patterns in the woven section
4 pieces of plain paper: there are four pieces of plain in the woven section (I forgot to include the base paper... OOPS!)
3 photos: again, obvious... but in sepia tone!
2 rubons: both flourishes were technically from one rubon. I broke it into two.
1 stamped image: the dots underneath the photographs are actually a stamp!

Moxie Fab World's Color Inspiration for Card Makers Week: The Neutrals Challenge

This challenge from Moxie Fab World threw me a little... The gold from the metallics challenge was a challenge, but getting shades that really went together was almost tougher! Funny though, because I ended up with two variations using almost the same colors!
The Bazzill colors were: French Vanilla, Twig and Smoky.

For the first card, I used a Bazzill Swiss Dot paper in a pretty khaki color, a light cream American Crafts cardstock, that was cut using the Wild Card Cartridge from Cricut and altered using the Gypsy, two variations of the same die-cut sheet from My Mind's Eye, and a section of a Making Memories ribbon. The top layer of the blue die-cut border has some dimensional stickers to make it "pop" off of the card :)
I like this card, but it wasn't really my style... So I took another look at my supplies and found these papers that are pretty similar in nature.
For this card, I used the same Bazzill Swiss Dot khaki paper, part of a sheet of BoBunny Mamarazzi paper, a ribbon in the same colors (I cannot remember what company...), and a rub-on sentiment from the Letterbox line from American Crafts.
I may just give this one to my brother for his birthday. Lucky for me, he has no idea that this blog exists :)

Mid Week Mojo #17

Here is my "Tiny Dancer" layout for ScrapbookSteals.com's MWM.

I didn't have a piece of patterned paper that I liked, nor do I have mists... So, I used watercolors. It worked! Then, I realized that the watercolors were a little dark... So used a white Chalks ink pad to help tone it down.

The paper is MME, with the pink and brown paper, the B side of Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry. The journal box is BoBunny, and the flowers are from BG paper, with BG brads and buttons. Pin It
