PAPER GIRLS CHALLENGE BLOG: Challenge #191: NEW!

I got a few new stamp and die sets during a few of the sales that were going on during the holiday season, and finally got some time to play with some of them. Here is my card using the Stamp Market Color Me Happy Stamp Bundle and some new (but an older collection) paper from Felicity Jane.

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaack!!!! Xyron Announces it's Fall/Winter 2014 Design Team

EEK! When I completed last Fall/Winter's Xyron Design Team session, I had to make the decision to step down from applying for Spring/Summer to complete my National Boards for Teaching. I knew that I needed to give those my all, and simplify a few things... So I took some time off, asked Beth and the lovely Julie to think of me fondly, and shared that I would apply again in the Summer. When Beth asked me to make sure that I applied, of COURSE I got that application in.

While I'm Waiting for Video to Load... Jillibean Design Team Entry Projects!

So... The new Jillibean Design Team gets called out tomorrow... And I doubt that I'm on it. Or let's put it this way... I was never notified. That's a nice way of saying no. :)

Anyway... Here are the projects that I made. Realize, there IS NO JILLIBEAN SOUP IN MY LSS!! The pieces that I do have are from 2009, and some of their baker's twine. The rest... I just tried to recreate the same style of Jillibean. Enjoy! Pin It

Calls went out for the My Little Shoebox today... It looks like I wasn't on the list.

Anyway... That does mean that I get to share and showcase the items I DID make for "tryouts".

The first photos are the birdhouse that I decorated. I think it looks a little empty... But I'm giving it away... So want to allow for the recipient to finish decorating it herself!!

The second was "Happy Spring" card. I added tulle and pins, as well as used a TON of dimensional adhesives...

"Brownies" was a lot of fun. I Versamarked the background with a flower stamp, added a LOT of bling, and used some really fun photos!
For this layout, I took a piece of shaped paper, cut it in half and then strung the two pieces together like an envelope. Then, I added a bunch of embellishments to decorate :)
