THE GREETING FARM: You Make Me Happy!

For today's project, I wanted to play with a stamp set that I had purchased from The Greeting Farm a little bit ago, You Are My Sunshine. Currently,You Are My Sunshine is out of stock, but if you would like this retired stamp to be brought back for a future Farmer's Market - use the Contact Page on the store website to let The Greeting Farm know!  

The start of this card was pretty simple. I stamped and embossed the little woodland creatures, then colored each of them with Copics. Once everything was colored and cut, I layered some pieces from one of the fabulous Diamond Press card kits I have, cutting the vellum to create contrast. Once everything was layered, I stamped the sentiment and used foam tape to give the characters more dimension

THE GREETING FARM: Thanks A Sloth

 Hello Farmers! Heather here with a fun card featuring the Thanks A Sloth stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I recently was grabbing a few things in my basement, and happened upon these layered background paper sets from Diamond Press (Diamond Press Nature Scene Layered Die-Cut Paper), and new a jungle card was in my future. 

I used Copics to color the stamped sloth, then fussy cut him out. I put the background together, and placed the sloth so that he was hanging out of the plants. I popped the sloth onto foam tape to help him stand out just a bit more from the plants around him. 

Once everything was laid out and adhered, I stamped the sentiment towards the bottom in the empty space. Thanks A Sloth for looking at today's card, and happy creating!

THE GREETING FARM: Fine Day Anya - April 2026 New Release

Day 2 of Previews for the April 2026 NEW Release is here, and this stamp set is perfect for Spring and Summer. Last week we shared Smarty Pants, and this week we will share the next two April sets that will be available for purchase on the 15th at 12am EST 

Meet Fine Day Anya, a super sweet gal, sharing her picnic with a fun little bird and hedgehog. I couldn't resist cutting a fun piece of gingham for a cute blanket underneath. I will fully admit - the blanket was a trial and error thing, and it took awhile to get the "right" size and shape.

THE GREETING FARM: Artsy Kids Masterpiece

 Happy Wednesday! I couldn't resist grabbing the Artsy Kids stamp set from the January release. As an art teacher, this set just spoke to me. I wanted to highlight the cute artist alongside some artwork she created. 

I colored the figure, easel and palette with Copic markers, leaving the canvas blank. Once the rest of the coloring was complete, I used washi tape to tape off the canvas area, and had fun layering some Copic marker lines to create a fun, abstract piece of art.

After the stamped images were all colored, I cut them out and used some dimensional tape to pop them up from the background. I added a stamped banner sentiment to complete the card.

THE GREETING FARM: Party Animals Birthday Card

 

There’s just something about woodland critters in party hats that makes everything better… and this card might be my new favorite celebration design! Today I am sharing this fun card using the Party Animals Clear Stamps from The Greeting Farm. 

I used alcohol markers to color each of the sweet animals, focusing on a combination of various neutral colors to create lifelike animals. I love adding the cute, pink cheeks to each animal, adding a few freckles with a white gel pen. 

Once the one layer card was complete, I added a few of the hats and details, popping those up with some dimensional adhesive. 

The Party Animals stamp set would be perfect for birthdays for all ages, or swap out the sentiment for another and you can send some love from a group instead. Thanks for stopping by, and happy creating!

Here is my take on this wonderful sketch. I used the Pets & Kids stamp set for this fun card. I paired some lovely Diamond Press patterned paper with some cardstock from my stash, and made sure to color the sweet girl and cat to match. Instead of using the accompanying sentiment stacked as it normally is, I used washi tape to mask off each word when inking, then peeled it away to stamp just one word alone. Adding just a few heart embellishments really made this card shine.

THE GREETING FARM: A Cozy Card for Book Lovers

Hello, Greeting Farm fans. Heather here, but this time I am back as a full-time designer for The Greeting Farm! I had so much fun, that I just had to stick around. For today’s project, I grabbed the Book Lover clear stamp set and got to work.

 

I stamped a few images and the wonderful sentiment from the Book Lover stamp set onto white paper and used alcohol markers to color each of the animals and the books and bookshelf.

 

Once those were colored, I fussy cut everything, then used a medium gray along the edges to clean up any white spots. I then hand cut the banner with the book lover sentiment and popped everything up with foam tape.

 

I colored the background papers to match the books and found a piece of metallic paper to ground the images on. Instead of leaving it plain, I added some texture with an embossing folder, then used a sanding block to bring out the browns underneath the copper.

 

To finish the card, I added a few pearls to create some additional shine I love how all the little details, the cute mug, the little books, and the fun colors, all come together to create a cozy, bookish feel. THE GREETING FARM: Small Surprises with Guest Designer Heather Conklin

 

Hello, Greeting Farm fans! Heather here again with my final Guest Designer post. For today’s project, I wanted to create a celebration card, specifically a birthday card. My own birthday is this week, and I thought it would be fun to create something that would be just as fun to receive. 

I started by stamping the cute cake image from the Small Surprises clear stamp set onto a tag cut from the Elle’s Studio Perforated Tags metal die. I colored the image with alcohol markers, layering colors to add a bit of depth, and finished with a touch of white gel pen on the bunny cheeks. 

 

Once the tag was complete, I added the sentiment from the same stamp set, threaded a coordinating ribbon through the hole, and secured it with my tiny attacher. I then pulled a few papers from my stash and used a set of scalloped rectangle dies to create the card base. 

To finish this cute project, I stamped and colored a few more of the bunny images from the Small Surprises clear stamp set and added them to the card using some foam tape for extra dimension.

Challenge #192 - Winter Color Challenge

Hello! Heather here, and I'm so glad that I can share with you today's challenge. I love creating based off of color palettes and images. It's a great way to challenge yourself to use materials or items you normally wouldn't use, create during a rut, or just use up what you have.

Today challenge is all about winter colors, snowflakes, silver, and texture. Or not! It's all about how YOU read the color palette, the reference image, or both! Create something that is inspired by this image and/or color palette.

For this project, I combined both the image AND the color palette to create this card. I knew that I wanted to emphasize the texture of this card, so I started by embossing the dark blue cardstock with silver embossing powder. Once that was complete, I die cut the embossed piece, the snowflakes and the sentiment. Once this was complete, I added the burlap ribbon, glued down all of the pieces, and added an enamel dot for interest.

PAPER GIRLS CHALLENGE BLOG: Happy 6th Anniversary!

Hello! It's a Happy Anniversary to the Paper Girls Challenge Blog! They are 6 years old today. Which is amazingly exciting! They are a bunch of great ladies who are pretty darn talented. Today's challenge is all about 6's.

AUTHENTIQUE PAPER: Remember December Mini Album

I would like to say that I always finish every project, but that is not always possible when the holidays are right around the corner. To make the completion of my Colorful Christmas December Mini Album a reality, I decided to prep a few things early to make it a little easier to create during the upcoming busy season.

To start, I grabbed a container to keep everything in. This is an Ikea basket, but others are just as fantastic. Then I just started grabbing things from my stash. I have had some of these items for years!

I pulled stamps, washi tape, alphas, ribbons, wood pieces, enamel dots, and other fun embellishments to add to my mini as I go.

 The Colorful Christmas 6x6 Bundle is perfectly sized for projects like this.

I then grabbed my foundation pages. I bought a few of these foundation pages from a sale awhile back. The days would have been wrong, so I printed new day names on sticker paper and cut them out with scissors. Once I create each page, I'll either hand write, or type using my manual typewriter.

 Having each of the patterned papers pre-cut will save time when I start creating next month.

All I need to add is a stamp pad and a few colored pencils. Any leftovers could easily be turned into a couple of Christmas cards.

I found this cute album on sale, and gussied it up with a little punched reindeer edge, and a journaling card.

 Adding a little faux stitching makes this more personalized.

 Because I know that the first part of the month will be hectic, I created a few Colorful Christmas foundation pages to start.

 I wanted something for the inside cover, so used my Silhouette (#111484) to cut a large tree, and added a Details sticker and an enamel star. The "Story" page will have some of my hopes for the Christmas season, possibly a wishlist of fun events.

 The next three pages are to be used with the foundation pages. Each will sit on the larger squared section, with the journaling or messages below them.

Hopefully this inspires you to gather all of your supplies just a tad bit early for some fun December Mini Album making. A little preparation now, will make the project easier to complete.
